Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP)

The Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP)^® Credential is granted exclusively to those who demonstrate considerable expertise in information management and technology assurance through their knowledge, skills and experience. CITP^® Credential holders exhibit unique abilities in providing risk assessment, fraud, internal control, audit and/or information management services within their firm or for their employers. Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP)^® is a professional certification for Certified Information Technology Professionals The CITP^® credential recognizes technical expertise across a wide range of business-technology practice areas.

Exam Information

To earn the CITP Certification, you must qualify in two exams: CHTE and CNE.

The total duration of the exam is 1 hour (60 Minutes).

The exam is conducted in a non-proctored mode and can be taken anytime and anywhere within an eight-month validity period.
Upon purchasing the Premium Package or an Exam Voucher Code, a voucher code with two attempts will be assigned to your login profile under the "My Vouchers" tab. You can then take the exam through the "My Exam(s)" tab in your profile. To take the exam, simply apply the voucher code.

The Exam Voucher included in the Premium Package or purchased separately is valid for two (2) attempts. If you are unable to pass the exam within these two attempts, you can purchase a new voucher code, which will grant you an additional two attempts.
Kindly Note: The voucher will not be valid for a second attempt if you pass the exam on your first attempt.

The Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP)^® Certificate is valid for life.

CITP^® is a Registered Trademark of GAQM.

While there are no specific prerequisites for the CITP^® exam, participants who have at least two years of actual working experience in an IT Infrastructure and/or operations department with knowledge of systems, network and/or application management are best suited.
