Linux Certified Master (LCM)

Exam Code: LCM-001

Candidates should be able to install and configure a web server. This objective includes monitoring the server’s load and performance, restricting client user access, configuring support for scripting languages as modules and setting up client user authentication. Also included is configuring server options to restrict usage of resources.  As a Linux Master, you'll improve your computer skills, be able to use a system completely customised by you to suit your needs, and have better chances of landing a good job in the IT & Computer industry. The following steps will guide you to start at being a Linux Master Rest assured, the journey is long and fun.


Exam Information

The exam comprises of 70 Multiple Choice Questions out of which the candidate needs to score 65% (46 out of 70 correct) to pass the exam.

The total duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 Minutes (90 Minutes)

No external sources of information may be accessed during the exam held via ProctorU. Further details of the materials permitted are provided:

  • Identification Proof.
  • If a Candidate does not pass the exam in the second (2nd) attempt, the candidate must wait for a period of at least fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of their attempt to retake the exam for third (3rd) time or any subsequent time.
  • The exam can be taken any number of times.

The Linux Certified Engineer (LCM)™ Certificate is valid for life.

Note: The Linux Certified Professional (LCP)™ Certification has no pre-requisites (Completion of an E-Course is not mandatory from GAQMBok portal), but we highly recommend doing the E-Course as maximum number of questions are drawn from the E-Course in the actual exam.
