ISO 28000 - 2022 focuses on aspects critical to manage and assure security risks. This may include financing, manufacturing, information management and transportation, in-transit storage and warehousing of goods. Originally devised to cover only the supply chain, the revised 2022 version can be used throughout all aspects of security of the organization. ISO 28000 – 2022 employs the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) model to planning, establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and continually improving the effectiveness of an organization’s security management system.

This Certificaiton provides a complete knowledge of ISO 28000:2022 standard and the requirements for security management systems. This training will also equip you with the knowledge and skills of auditing process, audit techniques, nonconformity reporting as well as your roles and responsibilities as a lead auditor for ISO 28000 security management system audits.

Exam Information

The exam comprises of 40 Multiple Choice Questions out of which the candidate needs to score 65% (26 out of 40 correct) to pass the exam.

Exams are online and proctored based, using a webcam and a reliable internet connection exams can be taken anywhere and anytime.

The total duration of the exam is 1 hour (60 Minutes).

No external sources of information may be accessed during the exam held via ProctorU. Further details of the materials permitted are provided:

  • Identification Proof.
  • If a Candidate does not pass the exam in the second (2nd) attempt, the candidate must wait for a period of at least fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of their attempt to retake the exam for third (3rd) time or any subsequent time.
  • The exam can be taken any number of times.

The ISO 28000 - Certified Lead Auditor Certificate is valid for life.
