The Certified Software Tester Intermediate Level Exam is a second step in your career, if you are seeking an advanced level of career in the field of Software Testing than this is a right exam for you. The Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing examination is suitable for those who are engaged in any aspect of software testing. The topics covered are those which are considered to be essential knowledge for an advanced level test professional, regardless of their specialism (i.e. Test Analysis or Test Management).

The exam for the Intermediate level has a blend of theoretical and practical applicability; the candidate has to demonstrate a high degree of knowledge in the field of software testing to pursue this certification. The Intermediate Level is also suited for those who are seeking career advancement in software testing after foundation level.

The Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing is aimed at those who seek a more practical approach to the core software testing material covered at Foundation level. Exam Information

The exam comprises of 40 Multiple Choice Questions out of which the candidate needs to score 70% (28 out of 40 correct) to pass.

Exams are online and proctored based, using a webcam and a reliable internet connection exams can be taken anywhere and anytime.

The total duration of the exam is 1 hour (60 Minutes)

No external sources of information may be accessed during the exam held via ProctorU. Further details of the materials permitted are provided:

Identification Proof

If a Candidate does not pass the exam in the second (2nd) attempt, the candidate must wait for a period of at least fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of their attempt to retake the exam for third (3rd) time or any subsequent time.
The exam can be taken any number of times.

The Certified Software Tester - Intermediate Level Certificate is valid for Four (4) years.
